Ducorit®

Densit has developed a portfolio of non-shrinking UHPC materials specifically designed for Oil and Gas Industry applications.

The Ducorit® range of UHPC materials exhibit extreme mechanical properties, often surpassing material requirements in engineering designs.

Important properties of Ducorit® UHPC materials include:

Extremely high strength and stiffness

High early strength - 50% within 24 hours at 20C

Low heat of hydration
Ultra high bond between Ducorit® and steel - minimal shrinkage

Unique fatigue strenght - 50 times that of normal concrete
High viscosity and inner cohesion prevent "washing out" of particles, separation or micture with water when cast underwater

Fibre reinforcement

Steel fibres can be incorporated into Ducorit® UHPC materials to increase the tensile and bending strength, leading to higher ductility and fracture energy.

Ducorit®

The core of the Ducorit® products is the unique ultra high strength Densit® Binder. The different properties of Ducorit® S1, Ducorit® S5, Ducorit® D1 and Ducorit® D4 are obtained by adding aggregates such as quartz sand or bauxite. Datasheet

Installation

Ducorit® is mixed and pumped from the platform or workboat through flexible hoses, into the specimen to be cast either above or below sea level.

Pile sleeve connections, jacket leg/pile and conductor casing annuli can all be cast from 5 mm upwards, together with all sizes of members, braces and jacket legs.

Installation can be carried out without disruption to oil and gas production.

Assured quality

Ducorit® products are manufactured under strict supervision and quality inspected in accordance with Densit ISO 9001:2000 certified by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance.
